Bikramjitās translational research activities, over the last one decade, are the outcome of intense collaboration with a number of clinicians, mostly through funded research projects or dissertations. These research programs involved a number of pre-clinical and clinical studies, planned and accomplished with the significant clinical insights or research contributions from clinicians / bio-engineering scientists in different hospitals/ medical institutions, across India. In particular, his group is benefited by clinicians in defining unmet clinical needs and clinical prospective analysis. The past and ongoing collaborations involved 6 orthopedic surgeons, 3 prosthodontists, 7 neurosurgeons / neuroscientists and 2 ENT surgeons or urologists. In addition, 7 dental surgeons were trained or mentored by Bikramjit in the last one decade.
